About
What the audit measures
VectoraPoint is a website audit for people who publish on the open web. You submit a domain. The tool fetches public pages and DNS records, then scores three outcomes separately. A mean is shown only as a summary. There is no single blended SEO number.
Web Search
Web Search is the classic blue-link problem: can a crawler index the URL, and will the snippet earn the click? The score covers HTTPS, canonicals, robots rules, titles, meta descriptions, heading structure, sitemaps, and basic mobile markup.
AI Citation
AI Citation is whether an answer engine can quote the page. The score looks for JSON-LD, a fetchable llms.txt, dated content, question-and-answer structure, and whether known AI crawlers are allowed in robots.txt.
Email Delivery
Email Delivery is authentication posture, not inbox placement. The score reads SPF, DMARC, DKIM, MX, and related DNS records — MTA-STS, TLS-RPT, DNSSEC, and CAA — to see whether the domain can prove it sends its own mail.
Standards the checks follow
- Google Search Central — crawling, indexing, and snippets.
- Schema.org — structured data types machines extract.
- DMARC overview — how receivers treat unauthenticated mail.
- RFC 9309 — the robots exclusion protocol.
- llms.txt — a short map of pages for language-model crawlers.
What a score does not claim
Scores are heuristics. They do not measure backlinks, Core Web Vitals, or legal compliance, and they do not promise a ranking or a citation. JavaScript-only pages are scored from the initial HTML, which is what most AI crawlers see too.
Guides
Read the check, then the score
Short notes on the three axes. Each one is a single topic, dated, and written to be quoted.
- llms.txt and AI crawler accessWhy llms.txt and AI bot rules matter for citation visibility — and why blocking crawlers is actionable even when it is not the strongest score predictor.
- Title and meta that earn the clickHow title length, uniqueness, and meta descriptions shape the snippet people see in search — and why duplicates waste crawl budget.
- SPF, DMARC, and DKIM explainedThe authentication triad that stops spoofing — and why DMARC policy (reject vs none) carries most of the score weight.
- Schema, hreflang, and citabilityJSON-LD types, language tags, and dated content help machines understand — and quote — your pages in synthesised answers.
- Indexability: canonical, robots, and HTTPSHTTPS redirects, self-referencing canonicals, and robots rules decide whether search can even consider your pages.
- MTA-STS and DNS hygieneBeyond SPF/DMARC: MTA-STS, TLS-RPT, DNSSEC, and CAA — hygiene that hardens transport and certificate issuance.
